A refreshing and fruity twist on classic iced coffee, this Blueberry Iced Latte combines bold espresso, creamy milk, and sweet blueberry syrup for a vibrant, café-style drink you can make at home in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 shots of espresso
Or ½ cup strong brewed coffee / cold brew

  • 1 cup milk
Whole milk, oat, almond, soy, etc.

  • 2 tbsp blueberry syrup
    Store-bought or homemade

  • Ice cubes
Enough to fill a tall glass

Directions

  • Start by making your coffee. If you have an espresso machine, go ahead and pull two shots and set them aside. If not, just brew about half a cup of strong coffee however you like French press, drip, or even cold brew all work great.
  • Now grab a tall glass and fill it to the top with ice. Clear glasses work best if you want to show off the pretty layers, but anything you have will do.
  • Next, pour in the blueberry syrup. About two tablespoons is perfect. Let it settle at the bottom it’ll create that deep, vibrant color at the base of your drink.
  • Then, gently pour in your milk. Take your time here so it doesn’t mix too much with the syrup. Fill the glass about three-quarters full. Any milk works, so go with what you like whole milk, oat milk, almond milk, whatever you have in the fridge.
  • Finally, it’s time for the espresso. Slowly pour it over the milk. You can pour it directly or over the back of a spoon if you want to keep the layers more defined. You’ll start to see the coffee float to the top while the milk and syrup stay below it looks amazing.
  • That’s it! If you want to get fancy, toss in a few blueberries or a sprig of mint on top. You can stir it all together for a smooth, fruity latte or sip it as-is and enjoy the layers one by one.

Notes

  • For the best flavor, make sure your blueberry syrup is completely cool before adding it to the glass warm syrup will melt the ice and mess with the layers. If you’re using cold brew instead of espresso, you might want to reduce the amount of syrup slightly since cold brew is often smoother and less intense. And don’t stress about getting perfect layers this drink still tastes amazing even if it mixes a little!
